Episode 504 of the Polyamory Weekly podcast features an interview with Aggie Sez (aka Amy Gahran), author of the SoloPoly blog and the new book, Stepping Off the Relationship Escalator: Uncommon Love and Life. Co-hoses Cunning Minx, Koe Creation and I discuss several aspects of solo polyamory, including whether it’s harder to be solo poly.
We also discuss what the Relationship Escalator is, and the five main ways that people are stepping off it. On this front, solo polyamory is a twofer! It diverges from the two most obvious hallmarks of Escalator relationships (monogamy and merging) at the same time.
